The law firm Ballard Spahr LLP is offering a free webinar on Jan. 8 that will focus on the proposed National Mortgage Database.
The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and the Federal Housing Finance Agency have partnered to develop the National Mortgage Database, which is being billed as the first comprehensive repository of detailed mortgage loan information. The webinar will address the scope and use of the proposed database, the critical considerations around data collection and analytics by the regulatory agencies, and the challenges the industry will face with compiling the data.
Michael S. Waldron, practice leader of Ballard Spahr's mortgage banking group, will serve as moderator for the webinar, which will take place from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. ET.
