Jones Lang LaSalle has announced that Peter Roberts, currently CEO of the Americas, will become chief strategy officer, effective Jan. 1, 2013. Lauralee Martin, currently chief operating and financial officer, will succeed Roberts as CEO of the Americas.
Roberts (pictured top left) has served 10 years as CEO of the Americas and is credited with a six-fold growth in the company's annual revenues in the region. He also has been a member of the company's global executive committee, which guides the firm's global strategy.
Martin (pictured bottom left) joined Jones Lang LaSalle in 2002 as chief financial officer and was appointed to the additional position of chief operating officer in 2005. She is credited with building the firm's energy and sustainability services business and helping to structure acquisitions across its global platform. Martin will retain responsibility of the chief financial officer position until a replacement is named.
