Lend America, a Melville, N.Y.-based privately owned direct-to-consumer residential mortgage lender with a core focus on originating government-insured loans, has launched the latest installment of its nationwide consumer educational television series, titled ‘Mortgage Rescue,’ on the benefits of Federal Housing Administration (FHA) loans.
Lend America's consumer educational series began in early spring 2006 and was designed to help consumers clearly understand the full spectrum of products available, including fixed-rate government-insured mortgages.
The company notes that over two years ago, it began to primarily originate FHA loans as it anticipated how the industry's lower underwriting standards and high level of non-prime ARM originations could cause a mortgage credit crisis and affect consumers.
