Mark Hughes has been named president of LenderLive Network Inc.'s due diligence division, and Lorie Helms has been hired as the company's new chief information officer (CIO).

Hughes joined LenderLive in April 2014. He previously served as senior vice president and was responsible for growing the company's third-party review (TPR) business and expanding its offerings to investors, banks, mortgage companies and credit unions.

He joined LenderLive from CoreLogic, where he headed the company's due diligence solutions group for five years. Earlier, he was president and chief operating officer of due diligence firm Bohan Group. Hughes began his career at Salomon Brothers (now Citigroup).

‘Growing our due diligence business is one of our top priorities for 2015, and with the backing of our new investor, we will be adding new resources and technology to accelerate this goal and to develop new solutions for residential mortgage-backed securities issuers, conduits and lenders,’ says Rick Seehausen, CEO of LenderLive, in a release. ‘Over the past year, [Hughes] has proven himself invaluable at LenderLive, and I'm confident he will continue to be instrumental as we expand our due diligence division.’

Helms, who has more than 17 years of technology management experience, was previously chief technology officer for Stewart Lender Services (formerly Allonhill). In that role, she was responsible for oversight of application development, reporting and analytics, project management, deal implementation, infrastructure, and the help desk. Prior to that, she was vice president of information development at Avelo Mortgage (a Goldman Sachs company) and director of development at Optum Inc. (now Parametrics Technology Corp.). In 2013, she was selected as a finalist for the Denver Business Journal's CIO of the Year Award.

In her new role, Helms will lead and manage LenderLive's IT infrastructure, network and data security and will provide oversight for corporate and divisional application development.
