Wynetta Byers was recently promoted to chief appraiser at appraisal management company LRES.
LRES also offers real estate owned asset management, homeowners association and technology solutions for the mortgage and real estate industries.
Previously, Byers was senior staff appraiser at LRES, where she managed client appraisal appeals processes, assisted new clients with product development, established appraisal requirements, and analyzed and reconciled different valuation products for clients.
Prior to LRES, she worked as a certified appraiser and senior partner for a residential appraisal company specializing in origination appraisals, probate, complex and high-end properties.
In her new position, Byers is responsible for developing, recommending and implementing valuation risk management strategies, such as the development and refinement of LRES property valuation products and services, to increase efficiency and reduce problems for customers. She is to oversee appraisal and valuation techniques, develop and implement strategies to increase productivity and compliance, develop staff and client training programs, develop solutions within the appraisal review process, and ensure appraisals meet applicable standards and regulatory guidelines.
“Wynetta’s established leadership, coupled with her strong understanding of appraisal regulatory requirements, such as USPAP, greatly streamlines LRES’ valuation department,” says Roger Beane, CEO of LRES, in a release. “Her extensive knowledge of property valuation methods and mortgage loan collateral issues make her the obvious choice for the position.”
