Frisco, Texas-based Matt Martin Real Estate Management LLC (MMREM) says it has been chosen by the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) to manage the disposition of owned real estate assets acquired by the TDHCA through its housing finance support programs.
MMREM, a diversified national real estate services firm, was selected for the two-year contract after a thorough request for proposals process by the state agency, which also picked a Houston-based company to participate in the program.
MMREM provided detailed information on its experience in asset disposition, title, closings, property valuations and field services, as well as on the capabilities of its online auction platform, RealtyBid, which the company acquired in late 2014. According to MMREM, RealtyBid has sold more properties since its founding in 2001 than any other website.
MMREM has hands-on experience managing diverse portfolios of real estate within Texas for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp., the U.S. Marshals Service, and private-sector and commercial clients.
