Matthew Ostrander, co-founder, majority owner, chairman and CEO of national wholesale and correspondent lender Parkside Lending, has been elected chairman of the California Mortgage Bankers Association (California MBA) for the 2016-2017 term.
Ostrander was inducted into the role at the recent Western Secondary Conference hosted by the California MBA.
Ostrander just completed serving one term as president of residential real estate for the California MBA and a previous term as secretary. Prior to that, he had served as director for the California MBA board since 2010. He has been an active member since 2005.
Ostrander is also a Freddie Mac and Mortgage Bankers Association Independent Mortgage Bankers Advisory Board Member and a member of Freddie Mac’s Regional Lending Advisory Board.
In addition, he serves as president and chairman of the board for Parkside Mortgage Trust REIT.
