The Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) is inducting 17 companies into its Hall of Honor program, which recognizes corporations and individual corporate leaders for their commitment to veterans and active-duty military personnel.
The program was created to acknowledge MBA member companies with programs that serve our nation's heroes in three categories: financial counseling, employment opportunities and homeownership assistance.
The MBA selected the companies after soliciting for applications.
In a release, Bill Cosgrove, chairman of the MBA and CEO of Union Home Mortgage Corp., says ‘each company, through its commitment to helping the military community, has demonstrated first-class service towards recognizing the men and women who defend our nation.
