Kaitlin Hildner has joined the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) as associate vice president of loan administration policy.
Hildner previously served as a senior policy advisor for the U.S. Department of Treasury, Financial Stability Oversight Council Secretariat.
Prior to that she held ascending roles at the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) and previously served in research associate and assistant roles at the Urban Institute, the University of Colorado Law School, and the Piton Foundation.
In her new role, Hildner will serve as MBA’s point-of-contact for the loan administration committee with the guidance of the vice president for residential policy. She is responsible for developing policy responses to key initiatives as well as developing and maintaining relationships with regulatory agencies, member committees, and working groups.
“Kaitlin’s vast housing and financial services experience, including working on some of the most important servicing issues facing the mortgage industry, makes her a perfect fit for our residential policy team,” says Pete Mills, senior vice president of residential policy and member engagement at the MBA, in a release. “Her deep understanding of servicing trends and challenges uniquely positions her to advocate effectively on behalf of our members during a time of constant, ongoing change.”
