Edward Wilson and Stan Reinford have joined Danvers, Mass.-based Mortgage Network Inc., one of the largest independent mortgage lenders in the eastern U.S., as loan officers in the Mount Pleasant, S.C., and the Doylestown, Pa., branch offices, respectively.

In this position, Wilson will be responsible for serving borrowers and homeowners throughout the Southeast region, while Reinford will serve those throughout eastern Pennsylvania.

Wilson, a 14-year mortgage banking veteran with experience in the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions, most recently served as a loan originator for Johnson Capital.

‘The greater Charleston market is a good place to be,’ says Wilson. ‘Home prices have risen nicely over the past five years but remain affordable, which is great for both current and aspiring homeowners. By joining Mortgage Network, I'll be better able to help people with their purchase and refinancing needs.’

Reinford, a 22-year mortgage banking veteran and a certified mortgage planning specialist, previously served as a loan originator at PrimeLending.

According to Reinford, eastern Pennsylvania also has a positive housing outlook. ‘Home prices are affordable, local job growth has been steady, and down payment requirements and interest rates both remain very attractive,’ he says. ‘Before going out to look at homes, however, buyers should learn all of their financing options by first speaking with a trusted mortgage professional.’
