Linda Murray recently joined Mortgage Network as a loan officer in the lender’s Portland, Maine, branch.
Murray, who grew up in Portland and now lives in Scarborough, has six years of local real estate finance experience. Previously, she served as a mortgage originator for Maine Capital Group and also worked in marketing and business development for two large local title companies.
Murray advises those interested in buying a home that the best place to start is to speak to a mortgage officer before they even go shopping.
“It’s important to work with a local lender who knows the market and can review your credit and finances ahead of time to ensure your loan will close once you make an offer,” she says. “My real estate experience has taught me the importance of all of the steps necessary to ensure a smooth transaction, and none is more important than communication with your loan officer every step of the way.”
Based in Danvers, Mass., Mortgage Network is a full-service retail lender that provides a complete range of conventional, non-conventional, government and reverse residential mortgage loans.
