Mortgage Network has opened a new branch in Charlotte, N.C., that will be managed by Ray Patterson.
Patterson comes to Mortgage Network from Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. Prior to Wells Fargo, he was a loan officer for Residential Finance.
Patterson has lived in Charlotte since 1991 and is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
Based in Danvers, Mass., Mortgage Network is celebrating its 30th year in business this year. The company has now grown to over 400 employees, with 40 branch offices licensed in 27 states.
The company provides a full array of residential mortgage products, from conventional to non-conventional loans, FHA and VA loans, mortgage refinancing, to reverse mortgages and more.
“We are incredibly excited to add a key market like Charlotte to our expanding branch network,” says David Crowell, Southeast regional manager for Mortgage Network, in a release. “[Patterson] is a great choice to head the office. He and his team are ready to help individuals in the area better understand their home financing options, whether they are buying a home or refinancing one.”
“Charlotte was recently named the fourth hottest housing market in the country by Zillow and number seven by Realtor.com,” Patterson notes. “While that’s certainly great news, it also creates challenges for prospective homebuyers, especially for those looking to buy their first home. That’s why it’s really important for people to come and talk to us before they even go home shopping.”
