NAFCU Elects Michael J. Parsons Chairman Michael J. Parsons, president and CEO of First Source Federal Credit Union, headquartered in New Hartford, N.Y., has been elected chairman of the National Association of Federal Credit Unions (NAFCU). His one-year term begins today at the conclusion of NAFCU's annual business meeting in Nashville.

Parsons previously served as vice chairman of NAFCU and NAFCU Services Corp., and he also served on the NAFCU executive committee and was chairman of the corporate, audit, and Region I advisory committees. He also participates on the legislative committee.

In addition to Parsons, the NAFCU officers for the 2012-2013 term include the following: Ed Templeton, president and CEO of SRP Federal Credit Union, based in North Augusta, S.C., as vice chairman; Richard Harris, president and CEO of Caltech Employees Federal Credit Union, based in La Canada, Calif., as treasurer; and Jeanne Kucey, president and CEO of JetStream Federal Credit Union, based in Miami Lakes, Fla., as secretary. Former NAFCU Chairman Michael Lussier, president and CEO of Webster First Federal Credit Union, based in Worcester, Mass., will continue on the board as director-at-large until his three-year term expires in 2014.
