Mortgage lender Parkside Lending recently added three new professionals to its team in New York.
Rich Bloom, who has 31 years of mortgage experience, including 24 years as a sales manager, will serve as the company’s new Northeastern regional manager.
Highly regarded in the industry, Bloom will be covering the East Coast from Virginia to Maine. His extensive network positions him well to help grow Parkside’s presence in the area.
In addition, Katie Plezia, who has more than 30 years of mortgage experience in the New York market, has joined the company as a senior account executive.
Plezia has received top performer and chairman’s club winner awards during her career.
What’s more, Elizabeth Squillante Nichols, who has more than 20 years of experience as a wholesale and correspondent account executive in downstate New York, has joined the company, also as a senior account executive.
Nichols specializes in jumbo, conventional, Federal Housing Administration and Veterans Affairs (VA) loans.
“With such seasoned talent joining the team, Parkside is excited to bring our expertise and strong commitment to customer service to the New York market,” says James Lamparter, executive vice president of sales for Parkside, in a release.
In April, Parkside announced that it had started offering VA home loan programs, and in February, it announced that it had started offering jumbo mortgages (fixed or adjustable-rate options) with loan-to-value ratios as high as 95%, with or without mortgage insurance.
The company also recently announced that it is now offering Fannie Mae’s HomeReady Mortgage, an affordable lending option for low- to moderate-income borrowers who otherwise may not qualify for a conventional Fannie Mae loan.
