Patrick Walden has been named president and CEO of Houston-based mortgage lender Envoy Mortgage. He will replace Rick Thompson, who served as CEO of Envoy for six years and remains an owner of the company.
Walden was previously president of the company.
Walden and Thompson joined Envoy in 2008 and have led company under a dual leadership structure since 2011.
Dana Gompers and David Zugheri, co-founders of the company (previously First Houston Mortgage), retain ownership interests in Envoy and are active in the day-to-day management of the company.
