Ray Brousseau has been promoted to president of Carrington Mortgage Services, a fully integrated mortgage company with lending and mortgage servicing operations and an affiliated real estate brokerage company.
Previously, Brousseau served as executive vice president. He has nearly 30 years of mortgage banking and consumer finance experience. Prior to joining Carrington in 2011, he spent 23 years leading various segments of Citi’s consumer finance business, CitiFinancial.
Under Brousseau’s leadership, Carrington’s full-service mortgage lending business – including wholesale, retail, and centralized sales and operations – has experienced unprecedented growth and operational results, the company says in a release.
“Ray is an outstanding senior leader with a consistently positive outlook that serves as an inspiration for his teams,” says Bruce Rose, CEO and founder of The Carrington Cos. “In his new role, I am confident his direction will enable us to continue to build our mortgage business, always with our customers in mind.”
In related news, Carrington Mortgage’s Wholesale Mortgage Lending Division recently announced that it has added conventional loans, giving the company’s broker customers, agent partners and clients more choices to deliver to their customers.
The new conventional products include conforming fixed-rate loans (purchase/refinance available); conforming, high balance loans (higher loan amounts, purchase/refinance); Freddie Mac Open Access (refinance) loans; DU Refi Plus (refinance) loans; lender paid mortgage insurance; and Texas home equity loans.
