Bryan Camilli has joined RoundPoint Mortgage Servicing Corp. (RPMS) as vice president of agency relationships.
In addition, Cindy McGovern has joined the mortgage servicing company as vice president of customer service.
Previously, Camilli worked at Fannie Mae for 10 years, where he focused on product and policy development, and managed its special servicing portfolio for bankruptcy and foreclosure.
In his new role with RounPoint, Camilli will focus on the company’s relationship with the agencies for servicing and retention.
McGovern has 20 years of experience in the mortgage industry. She has worked in originations, default and customer service.
She will spearhead a variety of initiatives aimed at establishing RoundPoint as an industry leader in customer service.
In a release, Kevin Brungardt, CEO for RoundPoint, says Camilli and McGovern “are highly skilled executives with a wealth of industry experience who will add tremendous value as we position ourselves for the future.”
“As we progress and expand, I’m confident their backgrounds and skillsets will be strong assets to our executive team, and the company as a whole,” Brungardt says.
The new hires follow RoundPoint’s announcement last week that it had completed a $94 million equity private placement of convertible preferred stock.
In a separate release, Brungardt says the infusion of capital “will assist us in our mission to build a leading, fully integrated mortgage banking institution that promotes sustainable homeownership.”
Brungardt says the additional capital “will be used primarily to support our ongoing expansion” including “growing the company’s leading mortgage servicing rights co-issue program and investing in other corporate initiatives that should generate strong market-rate returns.”
The capital will also be used “for other corporate purposes, such as repaying certain indebtedness,” he adds.
Earlier this month, RoundPoint announced that it had been elected as a subservicer for Bay Point Advisors, an Atlanta-based private lender providing small and medium-sized businesses with secured, mezzanine, bridge and DIP financing.
