Street Resource Group Inc. (SRG), a provider of technology and consulting solutions exclusively for mortgage warehouse lenders, has released a new version of Warehouse Lending System (WLS).
The new version leverages the widespread use and interoperability of the Microsoft Web Server, Internet Information Services (IIS) and a Software as a Service (SaaS) delivery model. The result is a WLS that is easier and less costly to implement and support moving forward, providing leading-edge security, scalability and extendibility, says SRG.
By moving to the open standards of a Web server architecture and employing secure HTTP and XML communication protocols, SRG was able to achieve its goal of maximum usability and interoperability for both warehouse lenders and their mortgage originator customers. The new release of WLS is significantly more firewall-friendly, eliminating the need for special configurations on individual systems – an important benefit given the large number of originator desktops on which the WLS client resides.
WLS is compatible with a wide range of workstation operating systems, including Microsoft Windows Vista.
