Supreme Lending Opens Another Branch In Kansas City

Fast-growing mortgage lender Supreme Lending recently opened a new branch in Kansas City, Kan., that is being managed by industry veteran Scott Somerville.

Somerville, who has built a reputation for fast, personalized service, has been originating residential mortgages for 17 years, the lender says in a release. He provides hands-on client service that includes meeting with every single client in person and being present at loan closings.

“Our goal is to go from application to final approval in under 20 days,” Somerville says in the release. “As a team, we routinely close loans in four weeks. The majority of our loans this year have closed in that time frame. And, that includes all loans. We are not picking and choosing, leaving out more challenging loan types that typically can take longer. Not many competitors can say that.”

Somerville plans to grow the Kansas City branch by adding more loan originators to his team over the next several years.

Supreme Lending last made news on MortgageOrb in April when it announced that it had opened a new branch in Exeter, N.H. Industry veterans Mike Behan and David Cote have been selected to co-manage the branch, which will focus on serving communities in New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Maine.

And in March, the mortgage lender announced that it had expanded its footprint in “Green Country,” Okla., with two new branches, one in Tulsa and the other in Pryor.
