The Texas Veterans Land Board has selected Mortgage Builder Loan Origination Software, provided by Southfield, Mich.-headquartered Mortgage Builder Software Inc., as its as loan origination software (LOS).
The Texas Veterans Land Board was created in 1946 to help veterans returning from World War II buy land to farm or ranch. As of July 2007, Texas Veterans Land Board has processed more than $1.73 billion in land loans for 15,800 veterans. Veterans can also receive loans for the purchase of land and home improvements.
"We were searching for the most capable and best value in loan origination systems to replace our current LOS," says Paul Moore, deputy commissioner of the Texas Veterans Land Board. "In addition to our internal evaluation process, we engaged an outside consulting firm to map our requirements with the best candidates to replace our system."
