Timothy M. Warren, board chairman of The Warren Group and former publisher of the trade magazine Banker & Tradesman, passed away on Dec. 21 at the age of 89.
Warren was the third generation to run his family's Boston-based publishing business. He joined The Warren Group in 1948, after serving in World War II and completing his education at Bowdoin College in Maine. He started as a printer's apprentice, eventually becoming president and publisher. Since 1988, he was the company's chairman of the board.
The Warren Group, based in Boston, also publishes The Commercial Record and provides real estate data for the New England market.
