Trott & Trott PC, a Farmington Hills, Mich.-based law firm serving the mortgage banking industry, has been selected as a member of Fannie Mae's newly created Foreclosure and Bankruptcy Attorney Network.
‘We are proud to be one of a handful of law firms in the country leading the charge in the development and implementation of strategic and creative loss mitigation solutions,’ says David A. Trott, managing partner. ‘Being a part of the Fannie Mae attorney network gives our firm an ability to provide borrowers with more information and greater opportunity to avoid foreclosure.’
The network of retained attorneys will handle all of Fannie Mae's nationwide foreclosure and bankruptcy matters (as well as post-foreclosure legal proceedings and activities). The network was established by the organization to foster a highly disciplined and efficient end-to-end approach to default management and loss mitigation, Trott & Trott says. Fannie Mae will require that servicers refer Fannie Mae foreclosures and bankruptcy cases to attorneys in its network.
