“We are excited to see steady growth of e-recording adoption across Georgia and Louisiana, and we will continue to work with recording offices in these states to make e-recording available to more citizens,” says Paul Clifford, president of Simplifile.
The first Georgia county joined Simplifile’s e-recording network in February 2013; Louisiana’s first e-recording parish joined Simplifile’s network in August 2014.
“It’s our hope that one day, every jurisdiction will enjoy the benefits of a more efficient e-recording workflow, as well as the savings that come with paperless recording and payment processing,” Clifford adds.
With these additions, there are now more than 1,546 counties using Simplifile’s e-recording service nationwide.
