Agile Methodology is a software application development process that relies on rapid development without requiring the use of exhaustive specifications.
According to the company, the mortgage industry will benefit from this type of rapid application-development methodology to deliver software solutions in time to exploit market opportunities, such as retooling from Alt-A to conforming products or reengineering to comply with new government-sponsored foreclosure avoidance programs.
Visionet has developed robust methodologies and knowledge-based templates to facilitate Agile Development in every mortgage sub-domain from no-mode re-fi to REO. This streamlined methodology cuts the development time by 50% while keeping the time spent by business to a minimum, the company says.
