Zoot, a Bozeman, Mont.-based provider of advanced credit decisioning and loan origination solutions, has internally released a new development tool – the Zoot User Interface (ZUI), which enables financial institutions to rapidly deploy custom applications.
Zoot says it developed ZUI in response to a need within the marketplace for faster development of custom applications. ZUI was designed for business analysts and other non-technical users in developing applications, such as loan origination systems. ZUI facilitates the creation of loan origination interface screens and the database interaction layer necessary to provide banks with the application entry and manual underwriting functionality needed to issue credit.
ZUI is able to adapt and build customized applications from any database to meet the individual requirements of financial institutions, the company adds, and alleviates the traditional technology restraints by giving financial institutions an increased level of control and configurability over the origination process.
