Mortgage banking company Allied Mortgage Group has appointed Mark Smyth as its director of affinity lending, responsible for leading the company's mortgage process management and financing activities for clients of financial planners, banks and credit unions.
Prior to joining Allied Mortgage Group, Smyth served as senior product manager at E*TRADE Financial, where he was responsible for the entire retail branch mortgage process and for supporting the network of financial advisors. He also served as national sales account manager for PHH Mortgage.
‘Mark has deep experience in the co-branded and private-label mortgage process,’ says Allied Mortgage Group's Bob Wexler. ‘His experience in this space brings core strength to the company and is an important part of our strategy for the future.’
