Avison Young's chairman and CEO, Mark E. Rose, says that the commercial real estate services firm has acquired Wayne, Pa.-based project management company Remington Group Inc.
This acquisition expands Avison Young's business-line coverage in the Philadelphia metropolitan area and commences the company's project management offerings in San Antonio. This ownership change adds 10 employees to Avison Young's operations.
Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
William Connor, founder of the Remington Group, will become a principal of Avison Young and leader of the firm's project management teams in Philadelphia and San Antonio – effective immediately.
Connor has 35 years of commercial real estate experience, mainly in the development and project management fields. Previously, he worked with a private developer in the Philadelphia area.
This announcement follows Avison Young's recent acquisition of Chicago-based Mesa Development LLC on April 23.
