Dan Kenshalo has joined Black Knight's data and analytics division as the new head of its innovation laboratory, in support of the division's advisory solutions and data sciences team.
Previously, Kenshalo was a senior associate with Booz Allen Hamilton, where he led a large professional services consulting team. He has extensive experience with Hadoop technology, an open-sourced software framework for data storage and large-scale processing that can analyze large datasets to reveal trends, patterns and associations.
Kenshalo also spent 12 years supporting the U.S. Department of Defense in the design and development of multi-petabyte systems for the storage and accessibility of large amounts of data.
In a release, Kevin Coop, president of Black Knight's data and analytics division, says Kenshalo ‘brings a wealth of experience in both consulting, systems and technology that can help our clients with a wide array of challenges, including the analysis, storage and processing of rapidly growing datasets.’
