A ceremony will be held to donate mortgage-free homes to 10 wounded U.S. veterans and their families, as a featured event at the 20th Anniversary Sales Mastery conference at the JW Marriott in Palm Desert, Calif., on Oct. 23.
Over $300,000 has been donated to the cause – called the Heroes to Homeowners Campaign – by 10 of America's independent lending organizations. Mortgage Coach and The Duncan Group have partnered with the Military Warriors Support Foundation and the Boot Campaign to turn the pledged funds into mortgage-free housing for eligible veterans and their families.
The following companies have donated $30,000 each to the campaign: Fairway Independent Mortgage Corp., GEM Mortgage, Churchill Mortgage, Wallick & Volk Mortgage Bankers, Prospect Mortgage, Cherry Creek Mortgage, Cornerstone Home Lending, First California Mortgage Co., Service First Mortgage and Prime Lending.
