New York-based Cantor Fitzgerald has appointed Steven Kantor as chairman of Cantor Commercial Real Estate (CCRE), and Jeffrey Lumby and Charles Edelman have been appointed as co-heads of Cantor's Investment Banking business.
Kantor (pictured left) has served as Cantor Fitzgerald's global head of investment banking since 2009 and is one of the co-founders of CCRE. Prior to joining Cantor Fitzgerald, he was managing director of Credit Suisse.
In addition to their new positions, Lumby will continue to serve as senior managing director and head of equity capital markets, while Edelman will continue to serve as managing director and global head of mergers and acquisitions and financial restructuring.
