Churchill Mortgage Hires 11 New Employees

Brentwood, Tenn.-based Churchill Mortgage reports that it has added 11 new employees to its ranks.

Debbie Johnson, with more than 13 years of mortgage industry experience, has joined the company in its corporate office as a mortgage processor. She holds 18 STAR certificates from the Tennessee Credit Union League and the Credit Union National Association, Inc. for her successful completion of fundamental industry training courses.

Susan Watson and Karen Stone have also joined the company at its headquarters as underwriters. They have more than 50 years of combined industry experience, the company reports.

Carol Hetyey and Phillip Nevils have joined Churchill Mortgage as home loan specialists in its Memphis, Tenn., branch. Hetyey is licensed by the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System & Registry (NMLS). Nevils has more than 35 years of industry experience and was previously a member of the board of directors for the Tennessee Association of Mortgage Brokers.

Paul Marquissee and Adam Austin have been hired as technical support specialist and secondary marketing specialist, respectively, and will also work out of the Memphis office.

Justin Alexander has been hired to serve as the lender's newest home loan specialist. Alexander, who will also work out of the Memphis office, was previously a financial advisor for American Express Financial Advisors.

Kevin Visentin, with more than 10 years of experience, has been hired as a home loan specialist in the firm's Tupelo, Miss., location. In addition, Mary Marquez has been hired as the lender's newest setup administrator in its North Texas offices, while Ashley Wallace joins the Herndon, Va., branch as a junior processor.

‘According to the National Association of Realtors, existing home sales in July experienced significant growth,’ says Mike Hardwick, president of Churchill Mortgage, in a release. ‘This increase in demand means there is a greater need for more professionals in the lending community, and Churchill is responding by actively recruiting professionals who have a deep knowledge and understanding of the industry.’

Since the beginning of 2013, Churchill Mortgage, which offers conventional, FHA, VA and USDA residential mortgages across 30 states, has added more than 90 new employees to branches across the country, exceeding the total number of employees recruited in all of 2012.
