Clinton To Make First Paid Speaking Appearance At NMHC Event Former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will make her first paid speech after leaving office later this month at the National Multi Housing Council (NMHC) in Dallas.

CNN reports that Clinton's April 24 appearance is her first speaking engagement since she became a client of the Harry Walker Agency. It is not certain if she will be discussing housing related issues during her speech, and CNN speculates that she could earn six-figure sums for her appearances. The NMHC has not stated how much Clinton is being paid for her presentation.

However, Clinton will also be available for gratis appearances – she is scheduled to deliver unpaid remarks later this week at the Vital Voices Global Leadership Awards in Washington, D.C., and the Women in the World Summit in New York.
