ClosingCorp Unveils DART 2.0

ClosingCorp, a La Jolla, Calif.-based provider of residential real estate closing cost data and technologies for mortgage lenders, real estate professionals and consumers, has launched DART 2.0, an upgraded version of the data service that provides recording fees, transfer taxes and now filing instructions to expedite the closing process for title and settlement professionals.

According to the company, DART 2.0 eliminates the need for title and settlement professionals to determine which recording office or tax authority to use for each property, as it uses sophisticated geocoding to automatically identify a property's location and generates the correct recording fees, transfer taxes and filing instructions. DART 2.0 also calculates buyer/seller splits based on statutory and customary practices for every transfer tax location in the nation.

DART 2.0 is available via API for implementation and integration with users' current systems, or it can be accessed directly through a Web interface, the company adds.
