Collateral Analytics, a provider of automated valuation solutions and real estate analytic products for the financial services industry, has launched CA Value Forecast Automated Valuation Model (AVM), incorporating its CA Home Price Forecast Models with its CA Value AVM.
CA Home Price Forecasts are available for approximately 400 metros and 10,000 ZIP codes around the U.S. These forecasts are updated on a monthly basis as new economic and real estate market data becomes available on a local level, says the company.
"While the focus of real estate valuation has always been on current values, we have always felt that future collateral values should be of equal to if not greater interest to lenders, mortgage servicers, mortgage insurance companies, home buyers and investors – to name a few," says Michael Sklarz, president and CEO of Collateral Analytics.
"The CA Value Forecast AVM provides predicted values for an individual home out to five years," he adds. "This will address the shorter and intermediate term forecast horizons of most users and give them additional tools to help make better business and/or investment decisions."
