Silver Hill Financial LLC, a national real estate lender specializing in small-balance commercial loans, has added Steve Demarest to its management team. In his role as senior vice president, Demarest oversees all Silver Hill Operations with a focus on process efficiency and technology improvements.
Prior to his appointment, Demarest, who has more than 23 years' experience in the mortgage industry, was senior vice president at ABN AMRO. As director of ABN's mortgage fulfillment center, he managed more than 600 employees. Demarest also served as an executive at IBM Mortgage Fulfillment, where he was responsible for designing the first of several mortgage fulfillment operations in the U.S.
