Ditech has launched a series of Fannie Mae HomeReady training sessions, available to correspondent lenders looking to learn the nuances of the product.
These training sessions will be held throughout the month of March via webinars.
Since the release of the HomeReady mortgage product, Ditech and Fannie Mae have worked together to help create solutions for creditworthy, low-to moderate-income customers by supplying access to 97% loan-to-value financing, increased income considerations for non-borrowing household members and flexible use of sources for funds.
Through these training sessions, Ditech will educate correspondents on the flexible solutions available to today’s buyers that are not found in conventional mortgage offerings.
“Considering the diverse needs of today’s buyers, especially those with minimal assets, we’re proud to offer flexible solutions in partnership with Fannie Mae,” says John Davis, senior vice president of Ditech’s correspondent lending division, in a release. “The training programs will explore the nuances of the HomeReady product, quickly helping correspondents become experts in the space and better serve customers.”
