Real estate veteran Don Frankman has joined Greystone, a provider of multifamily and healthcare mortgage loans, as managing director and relationship manager in the company's Newport Beach, Calif., office.
Frankman, who has more than 20 years of experience in real estate finance and commercial real estate valuation, previously worked as senior vice president and small- loan-origination manager at Alliant/ACRE Capital, where he was responsible for origination production under the Fannie Mae Delegated Underwriting and Servicing and Small Loan programs nationally, specializing in multifamily lending.
Prior to working at Alliant, he served as vice president for Chase Commercial Term Lending Group and Citibank Commercial Real Estate Finance. While at Chase and Citibank, Frankman originated and underwrote more than $2 billion in commercial loan originations throughout the western U.S.
In his new role, Frankman will focus on production for debt-financing solutions across Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Federal Housing Administration, commercial mortgage-backed securities and Greystone's proprietary lending platforms. He will report to Rick Wolf, senior managing director of West Coast production.
