In order to handle its growing volume of business, Atlanta-based Equity Loans has hired industry veterans David Carr and Teresa Ciccolella to the positions of corporate processing manager and controller, respectively. In addition, the company has promoted Alison Raymond to assistant vice president of operations.
Carr has more than 14 years of loan processing experience. Previously, he held positions with several brokers and wholesale and retail lenders, including Churchill Mortgage, Crescent Mortgage/Carolina Financial and CBC National Bank.
Ciccolella, who will serve in the company's Atlanta branch, is a licensed certified public accountant with more than 10 years of industry experience in financial modeling and accounting, having previously worked for Hamilton State Bank, Community & Southern Bank and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
In her new role, Raymond will manage Equity Loans' post-closing and closing departments. Prior to joining Equity Loans, she held various positions with Wells Fargo and The Brand Banking Company.
Equity Loans has opened 17 new offices in the past two years, including four new offices in the first quarter.
Additionally, the lender recently expanded its Atlanta headquarters, adding 4,985 sq. feet of office space.
