Atlanta-based Equity Loans LLC has reportedly been named a Top Mortgage Lender in the Top Overall Volume category for 2012 in the Scotsman Guide.
The ranking of the nation's top mortgage lending companies appears in Scotsman Guide's June 2013 residential edition.
Equity Loans beat out hundreds of mortgage companies across the country to be named a Top Mortgage Lender. The ranking is based on loan volume from mortgages on one-to-four-unit residential properties within the U.S. No commercial or international loans are included.
To be considered for the ranking, lenders had to furnish written verification of mortgage volume from a certified public accountant, the CEO at the company or a similar source.
