Madison, Wis.-based Fairway Independent Mortgage Corp. has added a new branch in Scottsdale, Ariz., as part of the lender's continued expansion.
In a release, Steve Jacobson, CEO of Fairway, says the Scottsdale area is a key market in the Southwest. The company has over 280 locations and more than 1,800 employees nationwide.
Jon Tobias, a mortgage originator in Arizona's Maricopa County, will head the new branch. Prior to joining Fairway, Tobias served as a vice president and loan officer for Nova Home Loans. Previously, he was the manager for Taylor Woodrow Homes' mortgage operations.
