Stergios “Terry” Theologides has joined Fannie Mae as executive vice president, general counsel, and corporate secretary.
Theologides has more than 20 years of legal and business experience. He most recently served as senior vice president, general counsel, and secretary for CoreLogic. There, he served as a member of the management committee, helped guide the company’s strategic and innovation initiatives, and advised the company on various priorities, including compliance, information security, internal audit, and enterprise risk.
Prior to CoreLogic, Theologides was executive vice president and general counsel for Morgan Stanley’s U.S. residential mortgage business and was a member of the Federal Reserve Board’s Consumer Advisory Council.
He joins Fannie Mae as it focuses on addressing housing affordability and supply issues, as well as innovation in the mortgage industry.
