Lee Investments, a retail-specialized investment sales and advisory team, has opened a New York office with the appointment of Richard Berlinghof as principal. The office is located at 711 3rd Ave., 20th Floor, and Berlinghof will be responsible for building relationships with financial institutions on the East Coast, analyzing and advising on distressed assets, portfolios and loans, and executing Faris Lee's real estate strategies. The company's president, Richard Walter, says the current economic downturn presents an opportunity for Faris Lee to grow its market share and increase its East Coast banking relationships.
