The Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. (FDIC) has announced that Sandra L. Thompson, director of the division of risk management supervision (RMS), has accepted the position of deputy director of housing mission and goals at the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA).
Thompson joined the FDIC in 1990 and has served in a variety of leadership roles during her tenure, including director of the division of supervision and consumer protection and director of securitizations for the Resolution Trust Corp.
Thompson will be replaced at the FDIC by Doreen R. Eberley, who is being promoted from senior deputy director of the RMS division.
