Joe Anderson, former senior managing director of Countrywide Home Loans' prime retail lending division, is returning to mortgage banking as chairman and CEO of Dallas-based Vericrest Financial.
Anderson is a 31-year veteran of the industry and also held senior leadership positions at First Horizon Home Loans, CC Mortgage, SWS Mortgage, MPACT Mortgage and Nationstar Mortgage. During his time at Countrywide, he led all origination channels, including distributed retail branches and Internet lending.
