Generation Mortgage Co. (GMC), a Home Equity Conversion Mortgage (HECM) company, has hired Lance Canada, Greg McDermott and Jim Becker as retail branch managers for the company's sales team.
Canada and McDermott will be responsible for overseeing GMC's loan offices in the eastern U.S.: Canada will manage the North Carolina sales team, and McDermott will oversee an area that includes New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware and Maryland. As branch manager of the Pacific region, Becker will focus on leading GMC's loan offices in Idaho, Washington and Oregon.
Canada has 17 years' experience in the mortgage industry, with nine of those in conversion mortgages. Prior to joining GMC, Canada worked with TowneBank Mortgage and Wells Fargo Home Mortgage.
McDermott previously served at LeaderOne Financial as northeast area manager. He has also worked for MetLife Home Loans and Wells Fargo Home Mortgage.
Becker most recently held the role of branch manager at Bay Equity after spending 16 years with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage as the reverse mortgage area manager for Oregon and southwest Washington.
