Mortgage banking veteran Stephen Griffin has joined Grandbridge Real Estate Capital as a vice president and commercial real estate mortgage officer.
Griffin has more than 20 years of experience in structuring commercial and multifamily transactions for numerous capital sources including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, insurance companies, CMBS lenders and banks, according to a press release.
Throughout his career, Griffin has focused primarily on multifamily executions and has been involved with more than $40 billion of transactions throughout 11 western states.
Griffin was the managing director for Freddie Mac's Western Regional office for 15 years, where he was responsible for overseeing the growth of the Freddie Mac portfolio.
A member of the Mortgage Bankers Association, Griffin is an active participant with the National Multifamily Housing Council and has served as a speaker and panelist at numerous multifamily industry conferences.
