The national alliance HOPE NOW, created to maximize and expand outreach efforts to help at-risk homeowners, has added more members in recent months. HOPE NOW says it now has more than 20 servicers in the group – representing 90% of the subprime market.
Since Oct. 10, 2007, HOPE NOW has welcomed Carrington Mortgage Services, Indymac Bank, Litton Loan Servicing, Merrill Lynch: Home Loan Services/Wilshire, Morgan Stanley/Saxon and Ocwen Loan Servicing.
‘We want to have a truly broad and effective alliance, so these additions are so important,’ says Faith Schwartz, executive director of HOPE NOW. ‘We have our interests aligned and the same goal in mind.’
