Mortgage industry professional John Freda has joined The StoneHill Group as manager of compliance and internal audit.
Freda has more than 10 years of both residential and commercial lending experience. Previously, he worked at Bank of America, where he was responsible for legacy asset servicing underwriting and origination. In addition, he was previously the primary leadership force of the correspondent lending division for Guaranty Bank.
He is an accredited mortgage professional, a designation awarded by the Mortgage Bankers Association that recognizes the achievements of individuals in the real estate finance industry for their pursuit of educational excellence, high ethical standards and commitment to professionalism.
