Ballard Spahr has announced that Glen P. Trudel has joined the firm as a partner in their Wilmington, Del., office. As a member of the firm's consumer financial services group, Trudel will counsel financial institutions on regulatory and transactional matters. He will also be a member of Ballard Spahr's bank regulation and supervision group and its transactional finance group.
Trudel joins Ballard Spahr from the Wilmington office of Connolly Bove Lodge & Hutz LLP, where he was a partner. He is a former senior vice president and counsel at MBNA America Bank (now part of Bank of America), where his work focused on affinity and joint marketing agreements, credit card portfolio acquisitions, and federal and state regulatory matters.
