Capital One Southcoast has named Christopher Lucas senior vice president and lead equity research analyst covering the publicly traded real estate sector, including real estate investment trusts. Lucas will be based in McLean, Va.
Lucas joins Capital One Southcoast from Robert W. Baird & Co., where he worked for eight years as managing director, establishing and building out the firm's real estate research platform. Lucas is a member of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts and the International Council of Shopping Centers.
